FAQ

Any questions about integrations?

What accounting software does Uku integrate with?

Uku integrates with QuickBooks, Xero, e-conomic, Tripletex, Fortnox, Directo, 360 Ksiegowosc, SmartAccounts, FreeAgent, Scoro, and Merit Aktiva. We also connect with business registries like Companies House, Estonian e-Business Register, and Danish Business Authority.

How does the QuickBooks integration work?

Import your client data and products into Uku to keep everything up to date. Uku's powerful billing automatically generates all invoices and exports them to QuickBooks. The sync is bidirectional — changes flow both ways.

Can I use Zapier or Make.com with Uku?

Yes. Zapier and Make.com let you connect Uku with hundreds of other apps and services. Share data, trigger actions, and build workflows that take your practice management to whole new levels.

Does Uku have a public API?

Yes. Uku Public API v3 is live on the Elite plan — a REST API at app.getuku.com/api/v3/ covering 30+ resources: clients, tasks, time entries, invoices, contracts and more. It has read and write access, HMAC-signed webhooks, and a machine-readable OpenAPI spec, so developers and AI agents alike can build on it. The docs are public — no key required.

Can I send emails from Uku using Gmail or Microsoft 365?

Yes. Log in with your Google or Microsoft account and send emails directly from Uku via your Gmail or Microsoft 365 address. Sent emails appear in your regular Sent folder.

How do business registry integrations work?

Simply type a company name or number, match it with the registry (Companies House, e-Business Register, or Danish Business Authority), and auto-fill all client details. This keeps client information accurate and up-to-date.

Is it possible to export invoices back to my accounting software?

Yes. With supported integrations like QuickBooks, Xero, e-conomic, Tripletex, Fortnox, Directo, and Merit Aktiva, Uku generates invoices and exports them back to your accounting software automatically.
